While on assignment in Turkey the Summer of 2011 I took advantage of some downtown in Istanbul to take my first foray into iPhone photography. It was refreshing to leave behind the more cumbersome Canon gear and to wonder the streets of Istanbul in awe of its beauty, diversity, and smashing of cultures and belief systems. Of all the countries I’ve traveled, all the cities I’ve stayed or passed through…Istanbul captured my heart like none other.
